World Animal Day
October 4 is observed as World Animal Day. It is the feast day of Francis is Assisi, the patron saint of animals. It is an international day for animal rights and their welfare. Cynologist Heinrich Zimmerman first observed this day in 1925.
World Animal Day is now growing into a global event uniting animal protection movement and making the world a better place for animals. Many political leaders and netizens poured their love for animals on social media, sharing wonderful pictures and happy, shared moments with their furry friends.
The Congress Party shared a tweet on World Animal Day and quoted Mahatma Gandhi's famous quote,"The greatness of a nation and it's moral progress can be judged by the way it's animals are treated." Animals have standards that often humans find difficult to live up to. People judge us, but animals don't.
The love and loyalty an animal has can put us humans to shame. There are a lot of lessons we can learn from animals. On this World Animal Day and every other day, we must learn to treat animals with love, affection and render the love, loyalty and respect they deserve; the way they treat us
